Journey Summary
Journeys begin with an agreement covering safety and objectives. We want you to have a safe and rewarding experience with us. Following this conversation, get ready for a safe and rewarding journey. Preparation time can be shortened if participants complete our online training videos prior, extending paddling time.
Once we have settled in our boats, head downstream along the mighty Birrarung under the eastern freeway bridge and into flying fox habitat. As we paddle through they are preparing to take flight to comb the suburbs for food. Our Journey will conclude opposite the Studley park boathouse. A 30 min stroll through parkland back to the starting point or call a taxi to continue your adventure.
What to bring
A sun hat, sunscreen and sunglasses especially during the warmer months. You can wear your normal street clothes but bring a change of clothes in case. Water bottle.
